Aplicaciones Tecnológicas S.A has an R+D+i department composed of a multidisciplinary team of technical experts, engineers and researchers who participate in the development of new products, services and processes.

We are aware of the necessity of developing strong relationships between the agents involved in the innovating process. We work with:
- Universities: developing several investigation research and initiatives and giving grants.
- Public administrations: taking part in projects which are financed by the Science and Technology Ministry, IMPIVA...
- Technological institutes: ITE, AIMME…
- Laboratories: We work with official and independent laboratories such as ITE, LCOE, CIEMAT, INTE, in order to ensure that all our products obtain the required certification.
Recognition
As recognition for our research activity, Aplicaciones Tecnológicas S.A received the “Valencia Innovation R+D and industrial diversification” award presented by the Local Industry Ministry, IMPIVA.

Regulation
Aplicaciones Tecnológicas, S.A. actively participates in both national and international regulation committes which develops and updates the lightning protection regulations. We are members of the lightning protection associations below:
- Spanish regulating committee (AENOR)
- European electrical regulating committee (CENELEC)
- International electrotechnical committee (CEI)
